Luckily, the program is so rich it makes us forget the shock. At Rathaus, the VR screenings of Hito Meikyu<\/em> continue as always, while at 4:30 pm at Ricci Oddi it\u2019s time for Concorto Kids<\/strong> with \u201cPapageno!\u201d<\/em>\u2014a performance\/concert in collaboration with the Nicolini Conservatory of Piacenza\u2014alongside a music therapy session led by Martina Spagnolo, aimed at parents, teachers, and educators. Afterwards: snack time and screenings! At 6 pm, in the Amici dell\u2019Arte hall, the screening of the Philippines Focus<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

How many miles is true love worth? According to Iulia Votiva the answer is: from the deepest point of the ocean to the most distant satellite in the universe. In <\/span>Longue Distance <\/span><\/i>the two main characters live an idyllic love, in a house where the only furniture needed is a large bed to snuggle up in before going to sleep and a photograph that immortalizes them happy, carefree and, above all, together. If, on the one hand, twenty-first century love listens to the real needs of the individuals, it is also true that it requires the most compromises. Everyone has dreams and ambitions, and everyone has the right to pursue them, demanding and often expecting almost full support from the people they love. And as priceless as the satisfaction of reaching the moon may be, Voitova\u2019s film shows us that when you look up to the stars, all you can see is who you left behind.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][divider line_type=”No Line” custom_height=”20″][vc_column_text text_direction=”default”]\n

Awarded the Palme d\u2019Or at Cannes 2025, <\/span>I\u2019m Glad You\u2019re Dead Now <\/span><\/i>by Tawfeel Barhom delves into a family story with an intimate and penetrating gaze by setting the story on an island that becomes a space of memory and suspension. Two brothers return to the places where they grew up, where childhood and forgotten secrets intertwine, confronting a pain that is not only private but alsopolitical. In just thirteen minutes, the short film weaves silence, glances and minimal gestures with a hypnotic rhythm, creating an atmosphere of dense and fragile suspension. The powerful interpretation of Tawfeek and Ashraf Barhom gives shape to an emotional tension that moves through conflict and tenderness. The minimalist photography and the carefully chosen sound reinforce this suspended dimension, where every detail seems to encapsulate the entire world. Erogenesis – Xandra Popescu<\/em>

Taking inspiration from literature and 70s feminist sci-fi cinematography, Xandra Popescu depicts a vivid and voluptuous portrait of a future in which humankind is no longer able to reproduce. Autonomous communities live outside society and at peace with each other. Men live alone, without\u00a0 any interaction with women or queer people, who are engaged in a quest to free themselves from their reproductive function so as to shape their own new world. In a riot of quotes borrowed from painting, sculpture, and cinema itself, the ancient vestiges of motherhood and fertility are destroyed and supplanted by the celebration of pleasure, now at the core of the process of erogenesis. In this post-world,the survivors live in love and harmony, creating a new, enchanted imagery free from roles and structures.\u00a0<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][divider line_type=”No Line” custom_height=”20″][vc_column_text text_direction=”default”]\n
