What do environment, sustainability and taking care of nature mean to children? Concorto Kids 2024 deals with the subject of sustainability involving the children, parents and teachers that will attend the Kids section of the Concorto Festival. To do so, Concorto Kids shows short-films about the subject of the year and offers multiple workshops.

Concorto Kids was created by Virginia Carolfi and Enrica Carini and was born as a part of the Concorto Film Festival. Its aim is to give the children a closer look at cinema and short films while conveying the idea of “using screens in a healthy way”. The event takes place for the third year in 2024 and aims at broadening its audience, identifying an age bracket of children aged 3 to 12. This year’s event offers activities of active citizenship connected to the environment and sustainability, and presents plenty of workshops based on speculative design, eco-hacking and design thinking. These activities, shows and meetings will run for three days in the Art Gallery “Galleria Ricci Oddi, Piacenza”. The subject of the third edition is “environment and sustainability”, a theme to be addressed in the perspective of an active participation of children and adults.

The shorts La Challenge, Chiara come l’acqua and La tribù delle luci are screened as part of the collaboration with EduIren.
